Financial Controller based in St Albans

 

Financial Controller: - This well-established business based in St Albans with a very loyal and stable client base has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to look after its finance function.Reporting to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller role will be responsible for all the financial, accounting, cash control and key administration within the business including the production of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, group reporting, year-end accounts and overseeing a small team of accounts and administration staff. The position will also include looking after the company's payroll, HR and IT.
The position will suit a flexible hand's on Financial Controller from a small to medium size business with strong reporting, man management and IT systems skills. Reporting on cash flow
Reporting on specific projects P&Ls
Quarterly Management Accounting
Dealing with European VAT
Preparing Accounts for audit
Managing/Supervising all accounts functions inc
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT Accounting
- Cash for events
- Managing currencies
- invoicing specialist projects
- Joint venture accounting
- Credit control
- Paying suppliers

The ideal candidate must have used SAP in a similar role.
