A Financial Controller is now sought to assist the Finance Director ensuring that accurate and timely financial information is prepared and reviewed to facilitate business decision making. In this role you will be responsible for;
  • Delivering monthly management accounts including profit and loss, volume and KPIs, balance sheet, commentary and other financial analysis
  • Presentation and explanation of the monthly management accounts to key Business Managers
  • Co-ordinating and consolidating the results from business units and divisions
  • Review of overseas reporting , liaise with regional controllers and business analysts to resolve any reporting and process issues
  • Preparing quarterly balance sheet reports and variance analysis
  • Managing the preparation and review of all balance sheet reconciliations and clear all differences, analyse and explain balance sheet movements
  • Working with the Financial Projects team to develop, test and deliver reports and queries to provide greater insight into the business
  • Planning, co-ordinating and delivering the annual business budget in conjunction with business and other finance managers
  • Planning, co-ordinating and delivering financial forecasts on a regular basis
  • Playing a leading role in a major new system implementation together with ongoing development.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA with relevant post qualified experience in leadership roles.  Excellent verbal and written communication is essential along with a strong commercial acumen to understand the drivers of the business.
