Credit Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a target driven Credit Controller with at least 12 months experience for a well established manufacturing business near Meadowhall, Sheffield. They have several sites across the UK and a strong customer base which has put them in a strong and stable financial position.

This role will report to the Financial Controller and you will be working as part of a small finance team of 3. You will be required to work towards pre-determined targets and manage your own part of the ledger.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

*To manage portfolio of 300 live accounts to deliver target cash collection and debtor reporting on a monthly basis
*Allocating BACs/ Cheque and Cash payments to accounts
*Manage accounts to minimise bad debt risk through credit checking procedures
*Actively minimise potential bad debt through pro-active chasing
*Record all queries logged by customers
*Create & discuss debtor performance reports with management


To be successful you MUST have the following attributes:

* At least 1-2 years' experience within a Credit Control environment
* Strong communication skills
* Target focused and driven
* Able to work well as part of a team
