Financial Controller

Are you a recently qualified accountant with experience of financial reporting, statutory accounts, management reporting and staff development? We are seeking an ambitious recently qualified accountant seeking to step up into a Financial Controller role for the first time for a high tech manufacturing business in Leeds.

In addition to core technical accounting skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to take ownership of projects, identify areas of improvements, provide solutions and be able to carrying these through to implementation.

Key responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly consolidated accounts for a group of companies
* Ensure the smooth running of the year-end audit
* Manage the financial accounts function on a daily basis ensuring that the team are aware of relevant deadlines
* Train and develop the existing team
* Monitoring the group cash position and producing cash flow forecasts
* Manage the inter-company recharges process including supporting documentation
* Reporting and providing feedback to Regional finance teams as required
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement appropriately
