Finance Director

Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Finance Director for a growing manufacturing business in Worcestershire. This business is a division of a larger group is looking for a Finance Director to shape the business for the future and play a key role in strategy of the organisation as well as managing day-to-day finance operations.

As the Finance Director you will be the Number 1 in the department, directly reporting into the MD, with a functional report into the Group Finance Department.

The Finance Director responsibilities will include:

• Developing Monthly and Annual Budgets, with a constant view to review overheads while expanding the business
• Create strategic plans with the MD and Group Finance Director and be responsible for the implementation of these
• Improve the current ERP system, and assess the needs of a new implementation
• Ensure legal compliance throughout all aspects of operations
• Internal and external reporting requirements
• Direct Management of a large finance team

You will be given a lot of autonomy in this Finance Director role and will be seen as the leading commercial adviser to the Managing Director of the Business. The right person will be:

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experienced in managing a large team in a manufacturing organisation
• Comfortable hitting the ground running in a Number 1 Finance Role
• An excellent communicator, with the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders
