I am currently recruiting the role of Financial Controller for a growing SME organisation based in South Essex that will provide the successful candidate with a leading finance role working closely with the Directors and owner of the business.
This is a role that will give the successful candidate the autonomy to build and develop the financial reporting, processes and controls as well as working with the directors on future strategy and growth.
This is a dynamic group of businesses with an entrepreneurial leadership style that will require you to have plenty of character and the ability to challenge at a senior level.
The role will require someone who is commercially minded and hands on, with the ability to provide expertise and have accountability for reconciliations, accruals, VAT and tax returns through to the development of monthly management and annual statutory accounts. In addition to having full ownership of all accounting aspects you will need to interact with all business areas and down to the transactional elements in the finance function.
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in a similar senior finance role.
