Finance Analyst

A large IT company require a bright and energetic Finance analyst to join their Doncaster team on a permanent basis. If you are a 2:1 finance/maths graduate, AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA then this is the ideal role to help you qualify. You will do this through a combination of studying and guidance from the Financial Controller.

As the Finance Analyst you will undertake a varied and exciting position in the company. My client is searching for a motivated team player who can assist the Financial Controller with the day-to-day running of the department. In your role you will be responsible for:

*Production of schedules for the annual half year budget and preliminary forecast meetings for Publishers, Editors and Senior Management
*Assisting the FP&R team in the forecasting and budgetary process
*Assisting the FP&R team during the month end and year end reporting processes, along with ad hoc Treasury support
*Maintenance and uploads of actual and forecast financial data within the forecasting software (Cognos planning analyst)
*Ad-hoc project work and process improvement within the team

This is a unique opportunity for someone to further their experience across the commercial and accounting function. You will take full responsibility for the preparation of journals and the production of management information for the board.
