Finance Director

Our client is a high growth VC backed services business working in the renewable energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Director to support the growth of an early stage company. Key responsibilities will include –

• Financial modelling including preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Analysis of profitability by site
• Regular interaction with the investor’s Group Head of Finance
• Reporting core financial information to the Board on a monthly basis
• Ensuring a pro-active relationship with the central finance team at the investors
• Creditor and debtor management with a particularly hands-on role in the management of the purchasing process (cost control) and sales process (billing and aged debt collection)
• Cash management and treasury duties
• Commercial input and review of key contracts the Company enters into
• Overseeing the payroll process (outsourced to an external payroll provider)
• Financial advice and support to the MD

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a commercial mindset. You must be a self-starter and have the ability to generate value for shareholders. You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively under pressure.
