Financial Accounting Manager, North Cambridgeshire, up to £50,000

Medium sized expanding business based in North Cambridge seek to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager on a permanent basis.

Your new role

The purpose of the role is to assist the Head of Finance in ensuring the transactional finance team runs smoothly including assisting in period end reporting. You will be responsible for managing an Accounts Assistant, Cashier and Purchase Ledger team. Key responsibilities will include overseeing daily cash flow, inter-company invoicing,
balance sheet reconciliation and credit control. Other duties include producing information for the month end board pack, assisting with audit and VAT.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally candidates will be professionally qualified however those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. Suitable applicants will have previously managed staff and a positive approach to work. You will have strong communication skills and remain calm under pressure. It is essential you enjoy problem solving and continuously strive to improve processes.
