Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is a well-known retail business with a very strong brand and an impressive track record of growth and financial achievement both in the UK and internationally. The company are now looking to hire a high-calibre Accounts Payable specialist on a permanent basis. Based in their modern offices in Central London, this is a key role reporting into the Finance Manager and working in a finance team of 15.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices
• Matching goods received through PO system with receiving documents and invoice totals in SAP
• Investigate and resolve price or quantity differences between purchase orders and related invoices
• Prepare and process payments, direct debit postings, process electronic bank statements
• Bank reconciliations

This is a great role for someone with at least 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable Role ideally in a Retail or Consumer business. You will be confident using Excel with a thorough understanding of basic double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles. You will be confident communicating with all levels of stakeholders as well as be able to build relationships efficiently. Please apply now if you have what it takes!
