A market leading, family owned business is recruiting for a qualified (CIMA , ACA or ACCA) or qualified by experience (QBE) commercial Financial Controller. With a record breaking year, further growth plans and new revenue lines this SME is recruiting for a Financial Controller in this newly created role.

As the company's Financial Controller you will be fully responsible for the production of insightful data and delivery of this information to allow the company to make sound strategic decisions. You will have strong commercial acumen and be able to challenge senior stakeholders.

Furthermore you will take an integral part in the budgeting process, identify cost reduction opportunities and produce a meaningful monthly accounts pack.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will be heavily involved in all commercial decision making and not have involvement in statutory accounts or tax returns.

To be suitable for this role you be a qualified (CIMA , ACA or ACCA) or qualified by experience (QBE) accountant, with proven experience of business partnering within a commercial role. You will have delivered detailed analysis and worked closely with non-financial senior stakeholders.

Previous experience within retail would be beneficial but not essential.
