The SF Group is currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Senior Finance Manager for a market leading business in Derbyshire. The business is a global leader in their field, and have witnessed impressive growth recently.
Following a number of years of organic growth, acquisition, international expansion, and consolidation, they are now looking to recruit for a Group Reporting Senior Finance Manager.
As Group Reporting Senior Finance Manager you will be take responsibility for the internal reporting on a monthly basis as well as the external reporting for the group. This role also has responsibility for the shared service centre, managing the day to day group finance function.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing the group consolidated management accounts, including taking responsibility that all supplementary information is provided to stakeholders on time
- Manage the payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger and cash management functions
- Prepare the monthly management accounts for the parent company and the monthly reconciliations
- Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements
- Creating group annual financial statements
- Liaising with internal and external auditors ensuring all information provided is accurate
- Completion and filing of all UK VAT returns being the main point of contact in the business for HMRC
The ideal person for this role would have been in a similar level management role, and would have had accountability for the Financial Performance of a business or division, as well as managing a transactional finance team. Some of the key requirements you will need to meet for this role are:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Significant Management Experience
- Experience in a group business environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Strong financial interpretation skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
