Interim systems project accountant

Our client is a socially responsible ‘not for profit’ organisation that support poor and marginalised people around the world. The head office function is going through a period of change and as part of this process they are updating their accounting package to Quickbooks. The Managing Director requires an interim financial controller to assist with this project. Duties will include:

• A diagnostic assessment of the current suite of reports currently being produced by Great Plains Dynamics
• Working collaboratively with management to define what management information is required for decision making. This will form the basis for the configuration of Quickbooks
• Checking and testing the integrity of the financial data and effective systems and processes.

Ideally you will have previously have experience of implementing Quickbooks into an SME. You will be able to demonstrate working closely with management and will be responsible for regularly updating the management team to ensure the project is running to plan.
