FP&A Manager

A global leading insurance business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant to join its FP&A function.

This role is within the UK Commercial and Finance team and is responsible for supporting the planning, co-ordination and delivery of the planning and forecasting processes across the UK. The role reports to the Senior Planning & Reporting Manager.

Key duties:

Co-ordinate 3 Year Plan Process
Co-ordinate the business planning and forecasting cycles and maintain the planning timetable.
Manage the Planning communications to the wider FP&A team and the local business teams, and facilitate workshops.
Support the Senior Reporting & Planning Manager in ensuring that planning processes are followed, and identify and implement improvements as appropriate, whilst achieving buy-in from stakeholders.
Ensure alignment of Financial Plans with Strategy.
Financial models, reports & template building Build and maintain financial models and templates to enable plans and forecasts to be submitted from the local planning teams into FP&A in a consistent format and with relevant content.
Critically review Plan submissionsReview business unit plans and support the Senior Reporting and Planning Manager to ensure that the resulting plan is fully understood and reconciled, has integrity, and has been agreed and appropriately loaded into underlying systems.
Produce reports, presentations & analysisAs part of the Plan outputs for senior management, UK Executive and Group Finance. Involvement in month-end reporting process, particularly reporting of monthly re-forecast and other reporting activities on an adhoc basis.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in planning. Experience of managing the monthly forecast process & consolidation would be desirable.
