SAP System Implementation Accountant (Interim)

Salary: £60k + benefits

Duration: 6 month initial contract

Location: London. Some travel will be required to the home counties

Our client is a leading FTSE 100 retailer with exciting growth and transformation plans. They boast some of Europe's leading high street brands as part of their portfolio.

The System Implementation Accountant will support the integration and test of an all new SAP integrated costing tool and manage the transactional interfaces between the tool and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all finance systems operate as expected and ensure audit compliance and data integrity
• Act as a main point of contact between the finance and IT functions
• Link / Apply the costing model to business purpose:
  • Build processes for PO generation, invoice matching, and reconciliations
  • Assist in training of end users
• UAT script draft and review, coordination and managing of issues log matters raised
• Process design
• Process document review, tidy up, coordinate inputs from various contributors
• Go live phase, role to play in data validation, assisting the management of parallel run systems
• Coordinator to manage and control our master implementation responsibilities
• Assist finance to develop plans to manage workloads and ensure a smooth flow of communication with Project Support

Person Specification

• SAP implementation experience
• Previous commercial finance/FP&A experience
• Retail/wholesale sector experience would be very beneficial
