Financial Analyst

This is a very exciting time to be joining our client - one of the largest manufacturing businesses in the UK, operating across multiple UK and Ireland sites, and are a market leader in their field.

Due to an imminent systems implementation, combined with high volumes of work, our client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to report directly into the Financial Controller, and to work in an experienced finance team, to be based out of the Gloucestershire site for a period of 12 months, on a Fixed Term Contract basis, paying up to £30,000 + superb benefits.

It is imperative that you are available at short notice to commence this Financial Analyst opportunity and it is also essential that you have worked within a manufacturing business previously, As a Financial Analyst, you may well be Qualified by Experience, or Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA - and also able to offer advanced Excel skills.

Your responsibilities as a Financial Analyst will include:

- Monthly preparation and distribution of various reports on a weekly/monthly basis, and supporting the Financial Controller and the finance team of 8

- Providing financial reports to management, around weekly flash reports, expense reports, spend reports, and supplier payment reports

- Supporting delivery of ad-hoc management reporting and requests from Financial Controller

- Supporting the finance team with providing financial and management information to Controllers

- Preparing weekly flash reports

- Ad-hoc project accounting

Skills, Knowledge and Experience as a Financial Analyst

- Available at short notice for this 12 month fixed term contract role

- Able to operate at all levels across the business

- Be able to build excellent relationships across the various teams

- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros)
