Join an award winning independent firm for Chartered Accountants based in Cheshire that have been established for over 50 years. This firm operate from two offices, Nantwich and Northwich and they are a practice of eight partners and more than 80 accountancy, business advisory and tax professionals. Due to continuous growth the firm are looking to appoint a soon to be or recently qualified accountant to join their business services team in Northwich as an Assistant / Junior Manager.

Your new job
As an assistant manager you will work with a range of clients under the audit threshold and ensuring all general practice services are delivered in a timely manner. In this role you will be responsible for scheduling and delegating work, reviewing the juniors work and also undertaking the more complex accounting assignments. The managers you will be reporting into are looking to progress up to senior manager / partner over the next 18 months and therefore they will mentor and develop you to undertake the managerial role when they progress onwards.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or someone who is nearing the end of their chartered examinations. Ideally you will have trained within a general practice and have developed good technical accounting and tax knowledge. This Assistant Manager job opportunity offers progression into a managerial role and therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate ambition and leadership skills.
