Our Client:

A professional service firm that can provide a team of approachable, experienced and proactive accountants, barristers, financial advisors and lawyers offering high level quality advice. This can be from an initial idea through to a full scale court battle, and anything in between.

They position themselves as the extra member of their client’s team, providing support and insight, over and above the day to day compliance, legal and taxation services offered by a “traditional accountants and lawyers”.  They are the only combined service that they are aware of in the UK.

The Opportunity:

Our client is a relatively young business, and now that its reputation is spreading via word of mouth, demand for its services is increasing.  As a result they are looking for an experienced Accountant, ideally someone who has worked with a variety of different people and companies, and can apply that wisdom and knowledge to offer practical advice and accurate financial information to its clients.  Specific tasks will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Presenting and explaining the accounts to clients with a view to adding value to their business decisions
• Preparing annual statutory accounts.
• VAT returns
• HMRC submissions.
• Forecasts, e.g. cashflow.
• Developing financial plans, potentially to be used to underpins financing decisions.
• Client payroll processing.
• General bookkeeping support.
