Management Accountant

This leading Private Equity business based in the West End is looking to recruit a qualified financial / management accountant for a 9 months role.

Reporting into the Finance Manager this will be an extremely varied role working for one of the world's leading PE houses.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Financial close process for a number of legal entities.
• Preparation of monthly financial report packs and presentation to management.
• Variance analysis month on month and to budget.
• Detailed monthly account reconciliations.
• Using advanced Excel formulas and functions to improve efficiencies.
• Preparation of annual financial statements from trial balance level.
• Working with auditors to ensure statutory deadlines are achieved.
• Preparation of overseas and UK VAT returns.
• Presenting monthly financials to senior executives.
• Assisting in monitoring and improving financial processes, controls and procedures.

As the ideal candidate you will be fully qualified with experience of both financial and management accounting responsibilities. A knowledge of working for a FCA regulated business would be desirable but not a pre-requisite. You will have excellent communication and systems skills including a good knowledge of Excel.
