Assistant Technical Accounting Manager

Key responsibilities for the Assistant Technical Accounting Manager will include;

Managing the GAAP Closing Process and supporting the Technical Manager in the day to day running of the technical accounting department.
Reconciliation and review of monthly underwriting reports to the GL
Month end reporting under both US & UK GAAP
Supervision of a small team
Completion of the required technical accounting balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure strong controls are in place and areas for improvement highlighted

Essentially you will be Qualified ACA/ ACCA with experience of insurance accounting, ideally to have supervised junior team members previously along with enthusiasm and drive to match the companies dynamic environment. Previous syndicate experience would be highly beneficial.
