Financial Analyst

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that all aspects of the management accounts and performance reporting are accurate and timely with a clear understanding of all the variances to budget and forecast for the monthly reporting timetable.
• Proactively innovate and drive continuous improvements to all processes and reporting outputs through simplification and automation. Where appropriate share improvement opportunities with and across all business units.
• To operate a robust methodology for the analysis, control and accurate reporting of financials.
• Produce the monthly reporting pack by providing a consolidated view of operational and financial performance.
• Responsible for other ad hoc projects according to the finance team priorities including acting as a lead on specific projects impacting the team.
• Responsible for compliance, regulation and risk management specific to the role, support external and internal audit processes on all matters relating to Performance
• To ensure up-to-date policies and procedures for the role, ensuring appropriate controls and accurate management information.
• Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the Customers Business and other Business Unit Finance teams.

The successful candidate will ideally be a part qualified accountant with good Excel skills and someone with experience of working in a similar role within a large complex organisation. Good communication skills are expected as you will work closely with senior stakeholders.
