Finance Manager

Robertson Bell are recruiting a Finance Manager to join a commercially focused arts based charity in Birmingham. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified-by-experience candidate

Reporting to the Finance Director, the key responsibilities of the role will be to produce accurate and timely management accounts, assist with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring of expenditure and supervise transnational staff. This will include balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly VAT returns, accurate information for statutory returns, year-end statutory accounts, preparation for year-end audit and assisting budget holders in the provision of day-to-day financial information.

The ideal candidate will have a real passion for working with a charity, particularly within the arts. Beyond this, they will have previous experience of working in similar position across the sales and purchase ledger function as well as managing a finance function and staff members. They will have excellent communication skills and knowledge of Access Dimensions would be useful.
