Axon Moore is exclusively representing a leading luxury brand with a global name.  The group has an overall turnover in excel of £50 billion, this division is one of the highest performing in the Group.  They offer an excellent package, including 10% annual bonus, 8% non-contributory pension, BUPA, staff discounts and other benefits.

Role:

We are looking ideally for a qualified candidate who will be able to provide support with month end, plus deliver financial information & analysis with respect to OPEX costs.

You will also support the Finance Manager and Finance Director when appropriate and provide general project analysis according to business needs and strategy.  You will collate information for and manage the internal audit, provide support for external audit.

Duties:
  • Play a key role in the month end process
  • Producing OPEX accruals and prepayment schedules
  • Depreciation calculation
  • Reconcile SAP to RMS
  • Balance sheet preparation, reconciliation with P&L and brand allocation
  • Shared service centre and general office brand allocations
  • Treasury reporting
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register
  • Management of authorisation process and CAPEX reporting.
  • Ensure general ledger accuracy and consistency
  • Internal audit and external audit preparation
  • Completion of EC Sales lists
  • Tax analysis and preparation of calculations for NI including P11Ds etc
  • Expense management
Person Specification:

1-2 years of relevant experience
Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills plus some exposure to ERP systems, ideally SAP
Ability to produce accurate, high quality work to strict deadlines
Able to deal effectively with people at all levels and in all areas of the organisation
Commercial awareness and common sense/pragmatic approach
Effective verbal and communication skills
Planning and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise work and work under pressure to tight deadlines
Ability to work independently without direct supervision

We will consider candidates who are looking for part time, circa 4 days per week alongside permanent candidates.

The role is likely to become permanent in 12 months time.
