A global engineering organisation is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) to join their busy, Cheshire based office. As an assistant management accountant, you will be supporting the management accountant with all reporting activities and preparation of monthly accounts.
You will be responsible for;

oThe production & distribution of management accounts
oPreparation of monthly journals cost transfers, accruals and prepayments
oPreparation, review and analysis of overhead costs for the organisation
oAssisting the Management Accountant in providing commentary for material overhead variances
oSupporting the Financial Reporting team throughout the year end audit process and liaise with external auditors as required
oAd-Hoc duties as and where required
oEnsuring that the balance sheet/trial balances of all reporting entities are appropriately monitored & controlled and all risk fully visible.
oAll external reporting and compliance related matters
The successful candidate must posses the following skills & attributes;
oWorking towards your professional accounting qualification - ACCA/CIMA
oAdvanced excel skills - including but not limited to v-look ups & pivot tables
oA high level of attention to detail
oMethodical and organised approach to work with good time management skills
oAnalytically minded
oAble to deal with change positively
oStrong communication skills
