Finance Director

My client, a fast-expanding recruitment company, are looking for an energetic and dynamic Finance Director. Reporting straight into the CFO, the ideal candidate will be looking to create a strong controls environment while sitting in a highly strategic position. The company is going through a period of rapid growth and the successful candidate will need to be able to work in a fast moving environment.

The role includes:

• Supporting the business on matters relating to financial performance and strategic business decisions
• Improving processes through the company to create a strong controls environment.
• Presenting business results, financial projections and financial analysis to senior management
• Participating in business reviews and representing the financial implications of the business strategy to leadership
• Supporting and managing major change initiatives, including business development activities
• Supervising the Financial Controller and providing guidance and evaluation of team members

Candidate skillset:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• They will be calm and calculated in their approach and unafraid to make the difficult decisions in a fast paced environment.
• Recruitment industry is essential.
• Commercial acumen is a must and industry experience is viewed as a distinct advantage but not essential.
