A Finance Business Partner is sought by a very fast growing multi-award winning insurance brokerage in the City. Part of a global business with a presence in nearly 40 countries, the company are a true leader in their chosen markets and they have a powerful network of contacts and clients that allow them to provide services to a particularly diverse range of clients. They are well backed and plan to continue their expansion; this role will play a key role in enabling them to achieve their goals.
The Finance Business Partner will assist the Senior Finance Business Partner (who reports to the CFO) and will be key in improving financial performance and decision making through reporting, analysis & planning. Duties include:
· Provide high quality and timely advice, information, analysis, reporting and interpretation to support effective decision making & performance management.
· Understand the drivers of business performance; identify trends & opportunities, suggest remedial action, influence the implementation of these solutions.
· Production of finance packs with relevant analytical commentary.
· Lead business units in the setting of annual budgets and mid-year forecasts.
· Prepare financial models for company acquisitions and team lifts.
· Support the improvement of management reporting and analysis.
Candidates for the Finance Business Partner role MUST be qualified accountants (ideally ACA) and the role will suit those who have qualified in a Top 50 practice who have since moved into an analytical or management accounts based role in a commercial environment. Prior experience of improving processes & controls and / or the insurance industry would be slight advantages but the client is keen to consider a wide range of applicants. Applicants should enjoy working with people at all levels (finance and non-finance alike) and will thrive when focused on analytical and problem solving based tasks. Applicants will also be excellent communicators, enjoy strong attention to detail, be willing get stuck in and work well under pressure.
Salary: £55000 - £60000 + bonus + 10% pension + bens.
