Finning are currently looking to recruit a Reporting Accountant to support the Financial Reporting & Treasury Manager. The core job purpose will be to take responsibility for the production of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to Finning International Inc as well as the external statutory accounts for the consolidated UK group and subsidiaries. You will be accountable for the preparation of month end consolidation journals and manage the month end close, and will take ownership of the external audit process. You will prepare various monthly and quarterly reporting packs and schedules. You will support with ensuring adherence to, and monitoring of compliance with accounting processes. You will be the key point of contact for internal and external queries. You will look to implement process improvements across the reporting structures and enjoy taking ownership of this area.
To succeed in this role you will be a recently qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) looking for your first move into industry or already in a similar role in industry looking for a step into a progressive and large organisation. You will have a solid understanding of IFRS and strong excel skills. As you will work with a number of key stakeholders, excellent communication skills will be essential.
