Assistant Accountant

An immediate requirement has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to provide support on a temporary basis due to an increase in workload. Although this is initially a temporary requirement which will be ongoing for a minimum of 4 weeks, there is a realistic potential of permanency for the successful individual.

Working closely alongside the Finance Manager, you will be assisting with the overall management of finance processes including the production of the management pack and commentary, cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, updating the cash book daily and ad hoc analysis and reporting.

To be considered, you will ideally be part qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and must be able to demonstrate sufficient relevant experience within a fast-paced finance environment. You will possess strong systems skills including advanced Excel with knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.

Whilst there is a genuine potential of permanency, this role could add real value to your CV in the short-term through gaining "hands on" exposure across many key areas of management and financial accounting processes.
