Our client is a global blue chip operating at the cutting edge of their chosen profession. Due to business growth a new position has been created to drive significant change and take ownership of the following:
- Lead and develop a high calibre finance team of c.50 people across multiple UK locations
- Own and drive significant change across invoicing, billings, cash collection & allocation and customer services
- Set, own and deliver service level agreements across the business
- Develop and enhance timely and insightful management accounting / reporting
- Work closely with the contracts and legal departments to ensure best practice when dealing with third party stakeholders
- Manage cash and aged debt, always seeking to ensure the strongest possible cash position
- This position reports to and supports the Regional Corporate Controller and will work closely with Regional Chief Financial Officer
Candidate Profile:
- Graduate, qualified accountant
- Strong track record of driving and implementing change
- Experienced in finance shared services / accounting operations
- A natural leader of people, relationship builder and influencer
- Comfortable with some UK travel and twice yearly trips to the US
