Our client is a well-respected financial services organisation based in Kent. They are in the throes of expansion so this is a great time to join this forward thinking company. The role sits within a dynamic innovative and high profile team. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical accounting and external reporting aspects of the Group finance function, including management of the audit process, production of annual and quarterly reporting for bondholders and the Group's parent company and consolidated financial statements. You will also support the Group Financial Controller in project work, including the enhancement of reporting capabilities, technical accounting projects and ad hoc work for the investors. 
  • Management of year end statutory accounts process for the Group including review of all consolidated and parent statutory accounts; 
  • Management of the Group's audit process from end to end and ensure that the interim and year end audit processes are conducted efficiently in adherence to tight deadlines; 
  • Tracking of Group management letter points 
  • Enhance and produce the Group's quarterly reports for bondholders 
  • Production and enhancement of quarterly and annual reporting presentations 
  • Development and on-going management of reporting around debt covenants 
  • Preparation and review of technical accounting memos and discussion papers for management 
  • Development, maintenance and improvement of Group accounting policies 
  • Assess and take actions following investigations into internal accounting and external reporting implications of new and amended standards; 
  • Overall supervision and management of technical accounting projects for the Group 
  • Consolidations 
The successful candidate will be ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified. A background in financial services would be an added bonus but is by no means essential.
