A rare opportunity has arisen for a Finance Director at one of the UK’s most established retail businesses.
This dynamic business has seen an increase in turnover by almost 25% in the past 12 months. This has created a need for a grounded, experienced FD to effectively advise across future market prospects, and strategy. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll be working alongside an experienced and dynamic leadership team. This role will focus on both acquisitions and organic growth to further the organisation’s strategy.
The main objectives of this role day-to-day will include:
- Regularly preparing financial reports and budgets
- Acting as the business partner for the CFO
- Providing operational and finance support to key, senior stakeholders
- Developing risk and opportunity matrix
- Implementing the best tools to ensure consistency and develop efficiencies
To be considered for this role you will need to be a fully qualified accountant, with at least 6-years post qualification experience.
The ability to lead a team, provide meaningful contributions to business strategy and develop excellent stakeholder relationships, along with great hands-on experience of improving financial systems and processes is key.
