Finance Business Partner

A large retailer with a significant logistics network and an incredibly strong brand and currently seeking a Logistics Finance Business Partner.  They have significantly outperformed the market in recent times and there is a clear plan to continue to improve performance ahead of the sector.

In this position you will lead and develop a high performing business change and transformation team in order to drive strategy, deliver improvements and make a real impact on the whole business.

The role 

• Lead finance business support for the regional division within Logistics
• Business partnering the regional head and their leadership team to provide rich insight into business drivers, establish a performance culture, develop short- to long-term planning as well as ensure robust financial control across the multiple sites.
• Operating within a logistics function which is intending to deliver sizeable transformation as well as a finance function being repositioned to be a commercial business partner, this role requires an emerging leader who can bring both financial discipline, team leadership and strong commercial thinking as well as detailed understanding of the underlying performance of the logistics operations.

The Candidate 

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience of working in a commercial environment
• Logistics and Retail sector experience is essential.
• Confident individual with strong stakeholder management skills
• Capable of working with suppliers and explaining finance to non-finance people.
