We have been appointed on an exclusive basis to recruit a talented Payroll Manager for a growing, modern, professional services business who have established a strong reputation in a short time. With an established and dedicated customer base, my client diversified into another business area that complimented its existing offering. This has resulted in further growth. Based in Salford, at modern premises, the Payroll Manager will assume the role of a 'Player Manager'; working as part of the team but with supervisory responsibility for 3 staff.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include producing accurate, multiple payrolls including weekly, fortnightly, monthly, lunar, mid-month. You will manage all payroll reconciliations and any associated payroll KPI reporting that is requested. The largest payroll is 300 FTE's and includes amendments such as public sector pensions. The Payroll Manager will have responsibility for 3 Payroll Administrators, managing their performance, workload and coaching. You will be a key point of contact for both senior internal and external stakeholders.
