Management Accountant / Analyst

A highly successful, dynamic business is seeking a part qualified professional to join their team. Due to growth, my client is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant / Analyst to join a small team within a large finance function where there will be opportunities for career development.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Deliver accurate information on a timely basis to Management in respect of operating costs for divisional cost centres.
• Ensure that all costs are included within the accounts.
• Proactively investigate variances to budget.
• Support the preparation of forecasts.
• Support the annual budget process.
• Provide ad hoc analysis on key areas such as travel and fees.
• Support the month end submission process using HFM and ensure all submissions reflect the correct data and follow up where necessary.

The candidate:

The successful candidate will be career focused and will have started either CIMA or ACCA with experience gained within monthly management accounting, budgets and forecasts, ideally for a larger organisation. Candidates will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role will have exposure to Senior Managers within the business. Candidates need to be confident, hard working, career driven with a flexible attitude and have a good sense of humour!
