The Client- Private Bank based in Central London
The role- Reporting to the Head of Finance, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience Management Accountant to join the team.
Key Requirements- As Senior Management Accountant you will manage month end management reporting (overseeing 2 direct reports) and will be responsible for related analysis, follow up and commentary. You will also be responsible for the budget and forecasting process.
The Senior Management Accountant will identify and implement improvements to the month end financial close process and other on-going reporting processes.
Skills & experience-
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Post qualification experience (ACA or ACCA) in a management reporting role, preferably in financial services with lending experience.
- Team management and staff development experience.
- Implementation of reporting improvements experience.
- Highly IT literacy - Advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of general ledger systems, preferably SAGE.
- Ability to manage multiple project tasks while maintaining control of regular workloads.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commercial awareness.
