FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - LONDON - OUR CLIENT: An international, market leading Investment Management Company are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team to provide accounting, financial reporting and oversight services in relation to a UK property portfolio worth £100 millions. THE ROLE will include but not be limited to the following:
- Preparing quarterly financial reporting packs using accounting systems for submission to the Group.
- Preparing Solvency II regulatory reporting.
- Preparing monthly returns for investors and assisting with responding to investor queries.
- Preparing finance reports and appendices for board meetings.
- Performing monthly and quarterly review controls over financial data in the internal system.
- Maintaining process notes, setting out responsibilities and processes relating to financial reporting.
- Liaising with property managers to ensure accuracy of accounting data.
- Preparing distribution calculations.
- Preparing net value asset calculations.
- Maintaining the register of notional unit holdings.
- Providing accounting information to the Tax team and assisting in resolving queries arising during the review of tax returns.
- Preparing annual statutory accounts under FRS102.
- Liaising with auditors.
THE PERSON: In order to apply, you MUST be a part qualified accountant (or equivalent) with solid property and financial accounting experience. A strong ability to analyse financial data is essential, along with the confidence to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external parties. The ideal candidate will bring a self-motivated and pro-active approach to the role and have strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable and knowledge of Property Management Systems (TRAMPS, YARDI, QUBE) etc. is highly beneficial.
