ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been appointed by a specialist manufacturer to recruit a Financial Controller. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant withna capability to delier an excellent broad scope reprting service and lead a function.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Challenge performance through proactive decision making and detailed analysis
- Assess opportunities to improve processes though the advancement of standardisation
- Liaise to develop and implement strategies to improve performance
- Lead month-end completions to hit the allocated deadlines
- Control the preparation of Budgeting and Forecasting
- Ensure adherence with group procedures and timelines
- Liaise with Auditors when required
- Carry out ad-hoc and Projects when required
PROFILE
- You will need to be a Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/ACMA
- Possess strong analysis skills
- To drive the business forward and see financial impact when using numbers
- Promote and manage change to assist in continues improvements of the business
- A people leader with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
- To have worked in a manufacturing sector would be desirable
