A successful media company based in central London are looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Due to the urgent need of the role they are looking for someone who is immediately available or on one weeks' notice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high performing finance team. The role has been created to align with the overall growth plans for the business. The company are are looking for someone with the experience and enthusiasm to improve the Accounts Receivable procedures, processes and controls.

You will report into the Credit Controller, on occasion the Group CFO and work closely with the rest of the finance team (6) This role suit someone who is driven, organised, has a keen eye for detail and who relishes the opportunity to shape processes and make improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

  • Raising of all manual and system generated invoices
  • Performing 'Sage Link' transfer of Orders from CRM to sage
  • Processing all cash applications correctly as per customer remittances
  • Managing all queries received in the Accounts Receivable Inbox
  • Processing Licence renewal billing
  • Assisting Credit Controller with regards to debt reduction
  • Credit Card processing where necessary
  • Maintain all Customer master data, ensuring integrity of information at all times
  • Production of Accounts Receivable month end pack
  • Reporting on unreconciled and uninvoiced revenue
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Assistance in the implementation of SAP Business One where requested
  • Provision of information for Audits and VAT Inspections
  • Provide cover where necessary in the Finance team
  • Ad hoc tasks requested by Transactional Accounting Manager, FC, or Group CFO

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have experience working with Sage 200 ideally or a variety of Finance ERP systems meaning you are able to pick systems up quickly.
