Based out of their Milton Keynes offices and reporting to the divisional finance manager you will be tasked with the provision of accounting, reporting, analysis and insight to support various areas of the business, across all aspects of sales, margin, stock and promotional activity.

Your responsibilities will include

-Providing timely and accurate financial reporting on sales, margin, stock, availability and promotional performance.
-Provide analysis and insight into the key drivers of trading performance.
-Ownership of Concession business P&L Reporting and Analysis
-Support the business in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
-Ensure all marketing and promotional activity is evaluated and results interpreted and communicated to the business.
-Ensure that stock, shrinkage, write-offs and other stock adjustments are appropriately accounted for and that stock provisions are reviewed regularly.
-Provide business partners with ad hoc finance support as required, for example financial input into business cases and ad hoc financial performance reviews.

The business is evolving and this role will give you the opportunity to influence decision making within your division and add real value as a finance business partner. You will also have the opportunity to be heavily involved with ad-hoc projects to improve planning processes and support the development of systems.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA, ACA and have at least three years experience of working in a management accounts role. Retail industry experience would be advantageous but not essential if you can demonstrate transferable knowledge.
