International Accountant

Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a global technology company based in Central London. Our client is looking for a Qualified Accountant to cover their international subsideries. 

Key Responsibilities

• Production of timely and accurate month end P&L for EMEA/APAC entities 
• Prepare the management accounts, checking all postings have been completed, and providing explanations to variances
• Maintain the accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register
• Review Salary, Commission & Bonus journals for all entities 
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other external statutory reporting
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and Quarterly Audit Files
• Responsible for inter-company reconciliations
• Billing and Revenue recognition and analysis
• Analysis of company projects ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Compile regular and ad hoc financial information for departmental and senior management
• Assist the Financial Controller to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
• Liaise with external auditors
• Assist in preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Support team with accounting queries
• Ad hoc assignments

Desirables

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent, although candidates who are not qualified but with relevant experience will still be considered 
• Experience of preparing the monthly management accounts and Statutory accounts
• Ability to take full control of accounting process for international subsidaries
