Practice Senior Accountant required for a medium-sized accountancy practice based in Birmingham City Centre. The client looks after the accounts for a huge number of businesses from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies of £multimillion turnover. This is a charming environment with a close-knit team with a strong social calendar, so someone with a personality is a must!
As the Practice Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Full review of management and statutory accounts for a large client portfolio
- Conducting audits for larger clients
- Leading a small team of semi-seniors
- Personal tax returns
- Regular liaison with your clients
Person requirements
You will come from a practice environment with a minimum of 5 years' experience. You can be ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified, though this role would also suit someone qualified by experience (QBE). You should know how to conduct an audit and fulfill personal tax returns. Previous experience managing a small team is desirable but not essential.
