Management Accountant

We are currently seeking 2 x Management Accountants to join part of a newly created finance team in a new London location.Our client has a unique business which incorporates several revenue streams including retail and financial services. They are in a massive growth period hence the new London home so a very exciting time to join. This opportunity would suit a PQ/Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with previous experience in a FS/Retail environment.

Your main role will be to support the Financial Controller to support the smooth operation of all finance related responsibilities. You will be heavily involved in the preparation and production of the monthly accounts/ad hoc reports process reviews to ensure adequate controls are in place.

Some other key responsibilities include:

* Key balance sheet controls
* Daily and weekly system files
* Month end
* P&L outputs including comparative analysis
* Annual audit process
* Support other finance colleagues
* Ad hoc assignments

The successful applicant will be a consummate professional with a hard working "can do" attitude. You will be someone that enjoys the challenge of a fast paced dynamic environment. You will have the ability to take on and complete your own work load with minimal supervision and be able to clearly understand and explain your methodologies and manage your team and overall pipeline effectively.

Essential attributes include:

* PQ or Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
* Very high level of technical knowledge and accounting expertise
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously and see things through to completion with minimal supervision
* Ability to thrive in a high pressure environment
* Reconciliations experience
* Month end experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills / ability to liaise and advise stakeholders at all levels
* Reliable and committed
