Financial Accountant

A manufacturing business based in Stevenage with a brilliant brand presence is looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their energetic and growing team. This role will offer a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or overseas equivalent) the opportunity to immerse themselves into the business. You will support the Senior Management team and manage internal stakeholder relationships. The company offers fantastic benefits and extremely good working hours.

Main responsibilities for the Financial Accountant will be:

• Delivery of monthly financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flows)
• Deliver high quality, timely financial reporting and be fully aware of all the key factors which affect the delivery of business financial targets or exposure to risk
• Assist with the half year and year end statutory audits
• Review and comment on all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis identifying and managing all risks and opportunities
• Deliver high quality, timely financial reporting
• Carry out weekly cash reporting and analysis alongside monthly forecasting
• Complete analyses for senior financial and non-financial management and other ad hoc analysis

As a Financial Accountant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• ACCA / ACA qualified accountant (or overseas equivalent)
• Have previous financial accounting/audit experience
• Good commercial acumen coupled with strong technical finance skills
• Be a strong communicator
