Financial Management Accountant

The Company

Our client is a long standing company within the hard industry sector who have established themselves as a recognised business on the FTSE 250 market!

With a massive investment portfolio and having delivered world class services within various sectors and regions of the world, they are now undergoing financial transformation which looks to benefit its finance personnel by allowing greater career mobility.

They are now seeking a fully-qualified accountant to take ownership of accounting and reporting to overhead departments as well as other UK investment holding companies.

The Role

Reporting and Analysis;
*Preparing month-end accounts;
*Quarterly re-forecasting, annual budgeting and variance analysis;
*Analysis of actual results against forecasts and budgets;

Half year and yearly end reporting;

Preparing statutory accounts for holding companies;
*Preparing tax packs;
*Managing audit and sign off process;

Weekly cash reporting, analysis and monthly forecasting;

Delivering analysis for senior finance personnel and non-finance management and other ad hoc analysis;

General ledger accounting software administration;

Improving processes, systems and controls as part of the Finance Transformation.

The Candidate
*Ideally an ACA qualified accountant who has worked within a top tier firm;
*Qualified to degree level with a minimum of a 2:1;
*Interpersonal communication skills;
*Up to date with reporting standards such as FRS101/102;
*Strong analytic capability.
