Financial Controller and Strategic Projects

This innovative, services group has grown through acquisition and penetrating new markets. Due to a recent acquisition the company is now looking to expand it's group function by adding well-rounded Financial Controller to play a key role supporting Group CFO with commercial analysis FP&A and strategic projects.

The role will also provide significant exposure to the senior management team, including the Commercial Director and CEO

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management information and analysis including commentary for senior management
• Ownership of the group forecast and preparation of management reports
• Accountable for the review and implementation of finance policies and procedures inline with future business growth
• Strategic projects such as acquisitions/ integrations, process improvement and initiatives.

The ideal candidate:

You will need to be either ACA, CIMA  or ACCA qualified commercially aware with strong financial analysis/financial modelling skills and experience of strategic projects and FP&A.  This is not a dry group role as there is plenty of opportunity get involved with the business units commercial/operational activities therefore the desire to add value and drive projects is also key.
