Management Accountant

Our client is currently looking for a dynamic and driven Management Accountant who can join their team in this newly created position and provide support for the existing Financial Controller. The business is a national organisation that is continuing to grow organically and has a clear strategic path in developing its market share, so this is an exciting time to join as your reporting will play a key part in the future decision making process.

Duties will include: -

* Fully responsible for the month reporting of the management accounts along with meaningful commentary

* Monitoring of a number of different profit and loss accounts across the business

* Reporting of various KPI’s across the business including overhead spend, customer analysis and spend and revenue analysis

* Production of the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple sites.

* Preparation of year end files for external accountants and statutory accounts

* Supervision of finance team and day to day reporting on both sales and purchase ledger

* Monitor intercompany reconciliations and re-charges

The successful candidate will be nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have already gained some good experience of the month end reporting pack, as well as possible exposure to the Board. The role will offer development for the right candidate into a managerial position and the opportunity to work directly with the stakeholders and senior management team.
