My client, is currently looking to recruit a highly IT literate business analyst, into a newly created role reporting to the Financial Controller. The role will be key in guaranteeing the success of the planned future growth plan which will see the company’s turnover almost double over the next 4 years. The Business Analyst team is expected to grow in the short to medium term with this position becoming the senior position within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily contact with all departments in the business to understand their needs and requirements 
  • Identifying possible improvements and producing business cases to justify the opportunities
  • Presentation of business cases to senior management, and agreeing best approach of implementation
  • Creation of post project appraisals 
  • Analysis of the companies enquiry pipeline, including conversion rates and timescales between set milestones
  • Interpretation of HR starter / Leaver data
  • Statistical analysis of Clinical teams reports
  • Accountable in ensuring stakeholders information expectations are met
  • Building and deploying automated reports in SQL Server Reporting Services / Excel Data connections etc.
  • Working with 3rd parties to implement approved business cases on the company's systems
  • Performing daily checks on the integrity of the data stored and heading up any cleansing projects
  • Assisting in the projects to implement new systems - data migration / testing / etc.

To be successful the candidate will have the following attributes

  • Accounting qualification not needed - but must be analytical in their thought processes.
  • Database knowledge and experience required - preferred experience of working with SQL / SSMS 
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft products - VBA knowledge essential 
  • You will work with people at all levels of the business so must have excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to go out and find issues and solutions without being prompted
  • Must be able to meet deadlines set / agreed
  • Full UK driving license - candidate will be expected to visit other sites on a regular basis
