Accountable Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor on a permanent basis for a highly recognisable organisation based in Liverpool City Centre. This role offers autonomy, working across the different sites building key relationships and the ability to make an impact from day one.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and execute audits, including preparation of audit work papers and procedures where required.
  • Prepare audit reports which incorporate audit findings and effective recommendations.
  • Communicate audit findings to members of divisional management and agree remediation deadlines.
  • Monitoring of implementation of remediation actions within the agreed deadlines.
  • Deliver ad-hoc project work as and when required.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Essential:

ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.

  • Degree level education or equivalent desirable.
  • Previous audit experience essential with internal audit experience desirable.
  • Exposure to a variety of businesses is desirable, including companies operating under complex and/or long-term contracts.
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards.
