This newly created Financial Controller role represents an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accountant to have a direct influence upon the strategic development of this rapidly growing Cambridge business. Founded ten years ago, this company has developed and patented a unique, disruptive technology which has the potential to revolutionise a huge and very lucrative market sector. Offices have been recently established in key overseas locations in order to capitalise on and penetrate this market sector.
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with colleagues throughout the business, the Financial Controller will be expected to implement the necessary processes and systems, developing the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles in order to provide meaningful, intuitive financial information to aid decision making. This will initially be a top to bottom, hands-on role and as such the successful applicant will be required to adopt a flexible, pro-active attitude. Other duties will include the production of monthly management accounts, statutory reporting and the management of all treasury activity.
On offer is an attractive salary and benefits package including 10% pension, bonus, private medical cover and participation in the management incentive plan.
