Assistant Finance Manager - Sport
( Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA)
Salary: UP to £35,000 plus benefits and study support ( ACCA or CIMA)
Leading media and entertainment group that produces some globally renowned programs in the sporting world is now looking for an Assistant Finance Manager role to work in their West London office.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Manager will be broad and varied, including:
- preparation of accurate budgets and forecasts
- monitoring of performance / costs against budget
- identifying reasons behind variances
- ensure all purchases are processed in a timely manner
- work closely with Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
- ad hoc finance analysis for the Finance Manager
- liaising with external auditors
- provision of guidance and compliance with HMRC on all accounting issues
Requirements for the Assistant Finance Manager role are as follows:
- Ideally degree educated
- Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA
- Previous experience in a high volume, transactional accounting role ( AP / AR)
- Knowledge of producing budgets and variance analysis
- Experience of SAP advantageous
- Media / sport / production experience advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- An interest in sport
